Varex Imaging Posts Upbeat Q3 Earnings, Joins Bowman Consulting, MarineMax And Other Big Stocks Moving Higher On Monday

U.S. stocks were mixed, with the Dow Jones index falling around 100 points on Monday.

Shares of Varex Imaging Corp (NASDAQ:VREX) rose sharply during Monday’s session following upbeat quarterly earnings.

Varex Imaging reported quarterly earnings of 31 cents per share which beat the analyst consensus estimate of 21 cents per share. The company reported quarterly sales of $210.500 million which missed the analyst consensus estimate of $213.940 million.

The company also announced it will be acquired by Teledyne.

Varex Imaging shares jumped 48.4% to $18.42 on Monday.

• Bowman Consulting Group Ltd (NASDAQ:BWMN) shares jumped 55.1% to $42.24 after the company reported better-than-expected second-quarter financial results. The company announced it will be acquired by Bernhard Capital Partners.
• MarineMax Inc (NYSE:HZO) rose 45.8% to $52.05 after the company announced it will be acquired by Blackrock Infrastructure’s Safe Harbor.
• AbCellera Biologics Inc (NASDAQ:ABCL) gained 35.6% to $9.40 after the company announced its Phase 2 portion Phase 1/2 clinical trial evaluating ABCL635 met its primary endpoint.
• Silence Therapeutics PLC – ADR (NASDAQ:SLN) rose 34.3% to $16.04 after the company announced topline results from the Phase 2 SANRECO trial met its primary and secondary endpoints.
• Archer Aviation Inc (NYSE:ACHR) gained 19.5% to $6.68. The Boeing Company (NYSE:BA) and Archer Aviation announced the companies have signed definitive agreements in which Archer will acquire Boeing’s Wisk Aero, SkyGrid and Insitu subsidiaries.
• National Energy Services Reunited Corp (NASDAQ:NESR) gained 16.4% to $33.78 after the company reported better-than-expected quarterly financial results.
• Aquestive Therapeutics Inc (NASDAQ:AQST) gained 15.4% to $4.54 after the company announced results from its human factors validation study and pharmacokinetic study for Anaphylm sublingual film.
• Standard Nuclear Inc (NYSE:STDN) rose 13.7% to $9.60 after several analysts initiated coverage on the stock with Bullish ratings.
• Everpure Inc (NYSE:P) gained 12.2% to $101.00 after Morgan Stanley upgraded the stock from Equal-Weight to Overweight and raised its price target from $87 to $108.
• Fastly Inc (NASDAQ:FSLY) jumped 10.8% to $25.46.
• Patterson-UTI Energy Inc (NASDAQ:PTEN) gained 9.4% to $10.80.
• Butterfly Network Inc (NYSE:BFLY) rose 9.4% to $9.66.
• Calumet Inc (NASDAQ:CLMT) gained 8.8% to $42.97.
• Helmerich and Payne Inc (NYSE:HP) rose 7.9% to $40.03. Barclays analyst Eddie Kim maintained Helmerich & Payne with an Overweight rating and raised the price target from $47 to $50.
