Wynn Resorts Posts Upbeat Q2 Earnings, Joins Bloomin' Brands, Shopify, Owens Corning And Other Big Stocks Moving Higher On Wednesday

U.S. stocks were higher, with the Dow Jones index gaining around 500 points on Wednesday.

Shares of Wynn Resorts Ltd (NASDAQ:WYNN) rose sharply after the company reported better-than-expected quarterly financial results.

Wynn Resorts posted adjusted earnings of $1.24 per share, beating market estimates of $1.11 per share. The company’s sales came in at $1.857 billion, versus expectations of $1.841 billion.

Wynn Resorts shares jumped 10.9% to $108.27 on Wednesday.
