Abbott Laboratories, AtaiBeckley, ManpowerGroup And Other Big Stocks Moving Higher On Thursday

U.S. stocks were mixed, with the Nasdaq Composite falling around 150 points on Thursday.

Shares of Abbott Laboratories (NYSE:ABT) rose sharply after the company reported better-than-expected second-quarter financial results and raised its FY26 adjusted EPS guidance.

Abbott Laboratories posted quarterly adjusted EPS of $1.31, beating market estimates of $1.28. The company’s quarterly sales came in at $12.593 billion versus expectations of $12.497 billion.

Abbott shares jumped 12.1% to $100.07 on Thursday.

  • AtaiBeckley Inc (NASDAQ:ATAI) shares jumped 31.6% to $7.06 after the company announced it will be acquired by Lilly.
  • ManpowerGroup Inc (NYSE:MAN) gained 27.8% to $49.81 after the company reported better-than-expected second-quarter financial results and issued third-quarter GAAP EPS guidance above estimates.
  • Distribution Solutions Group Inc (NASDAQ:DSGR) gained 25.3% to $34.44 after the company announced it will be taken private by affiliates of LKCM Headwater Investments.
  • CareDx Inc (NASDAQ:CDNA) gained 22.8% to $36.54 fter the company announced the finalization of the Medicare Local Coverage Determination process related to molecular testing for solid organ allograft rejection.
  • Maase Inc (NASDAQ:MAAS) surged 16.8% to $19.36.
  • Cybin Inc (NASDAQ:HELP) surged 12.4% to $7.32.
  • Robert Half Inc (NYSE:RHI) shares climbed 9.5% to $40.18.
  • Scotts Miracle-Gro Co (NYSE:SMG) gained 9.3% to $74.29.
  • Forward Air Corp (NASDAQ:FWRD) gained 8.2% to $13.66.
  • UnitedHealth Group Inc (NYSE:UNH) shares jumped 8% to $451.99 after the company reported better-than-expected second-quarter financial results and issued FY26 guidance above estimates.
  • J B Hunt Transport Services Inc (NASDAQ:JBHT) rose 6.3% to $293.64 after the company reported better-than-expected quarterly financial results.
