    Phoenix Education Partners, Pentair And Other Big Stocks Moving Lower In Wednesday’s Pre-Market Session

    U.S. stock futures were mostly higher this morning, with the Nasdaq 100 futures gaining around 100 points on Wednesday.

    Shares of Phoenix Education Partners Inc (NYSE:PXED) fell sharply in pre-market trading after the company reported third-quarter financial results and cut its FY26 sales guidance below estimates.

    Phoenix Education reported quarterly earnings of $1.43 per share which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $1.32 per share. The company reported quarterly sales of $271.801 million which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $271.134 million.

    Phoenix Education cut its FY2026 sales guidance from $1.025 billion-$1.035 billion to $1.020 billion-$1.025 billion.

    Phoenix Education Partners shares dipped 11% to $30.76 in pre-market trading.

    • Pentair PLC (NYSE:PNR) shares dipped 17% to $62.87 in pre-market trading after the company announced the resignation of Nicholas J. Brazis as CFO, effective July 10, while naming Robert P. Fishman as interim CFO, effective July 14. The company also slashed its guidance for FY2026.
    • Twin Vee Powercats Co (NASDAQ:VEEE) fell 16.6% to $32.01 in pre-market trading after jumping 55% on Tuesday.
    • Molina Healthcare Inc (NYSE:MOH) dipped 9% to $219.84 in pre-market trading.
    • Phoenix Asia Holdings Ltd (NASDAQ:PHOE) shares dipped 8.8% to $23.66 in pre-market trading after gaining over 25% on Tuesday.
    • Evotec SE (NASDAQ:EVO) declined 7% to $1.99 in pre-market trading after dipping 12% on Tuesday.
    • Elevance Health Inc (NYSE:ELV) fell 6.7% to $398.01 in pre-market trading following second-quarter results.
    • Pool Corp (NASDAQ:POOL) declined 6.7% to $195.99 in pre-market trading. Pool said it will release its second quarter earnings results before the opening bell on July 23.
    • SK Hynix Inc – ADR (NASDAQ:SKHY) fell 5.6% to $183.01 in pre-market trading.
    • Centene Corp (NYSE:CNC) declined 4.8% to $65.39 in pre-market trading.
    • Lucid Group Inc (NASDAQ:LCID) declined 4.8% to $4.40 in pre-market trading. Lucid Group shares dipped 16% on Tuesday after a report claimed the electric vehicle maker is weighing options that include going private or filing for bankruptcy protection.
    • Achieve Life Sciences Inc (NASDAQ:ACHV) fell 4% to $6.06 in pre-market trading after gaining over 3% on Tuesday.
    • Fate Therapeutics Inc (NASDAQ:FATE) declined 3.3% to $2.89 in pre-market trading. Fate Therapeutics, last week, announced FDA clearance of its Investigational New Drug application for its CAR T-cell product candidate FT839.
