Avanos Medical, Travere Therapeutics, Globalstar And Other Big Stocks Moving Higher On Tuesday

U.S. stocks were higher, with the Dow Jones index gaining over 200 points on Tuesday.

Shares of Avanos Medical Inc (NYSE:AVNS) rose sharply following the announcement of the going-private deal.

American Industrial Partners will buy the medtech company in an all-cash transaction at an enterprise value of approximately $1.272 billion.

Avanos Medical shares surged 69% to $24.55 on Tuesday.

• Travere Therapeutics Inc (NASDAQ:TVTX) gained 33.6% to $41.00 after the company announced that the FDA approved FILSPARI to reduce proteinuria in adult and pediatric patients aged 8 years and older with focal segmental glomerulosclerosis without nephrotic syndrome.
• Keel Infrastructure Corp (NASDAQ:KEEL) jumped 18.3% to $2.78.
• Bloom Energy Corp (NYSE:BE) gained 18% to $208.32 after the company announced an expanded partnership with Oracle to support the buildout of its AI and cloud computing infrastructure.
• IONQ Inc (NASDAQ:IONQ) gained 14.7% to $34.13 after the company announced it was awarded a contract in the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency Heterogeneous Architectures for Quantum program.
• Sana Biotechnology Inc (NASDAQ:SANA) jumped 13.7% to $3.65 after the company announced a strategic collaboration with Mayo Clinic to advance development of SC451. Also, the company sold 7.5 million shares at $3.33 per share for $25 million to Mayo Clinic.
• Credo Technology Group Holding Ltd (NASDAQ:CRDO) gained 13.2% to $152.10.
• Ironwood Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ:IRWD) gained 12.8% to $4.12.
• Strive Inc (NASDAQ:ASST) gained 11.9% to $12.96.
• Rigetti Computing Inc (NASDAQ:RGTI) gained 11.8% to $16.92.
• Voyager Acquisition Corp (NASDAQ:VACH) jumped 11.7% to $13.68.
• Alpha and Omega Semiconductor Ltd (NASDAQ:AOSL) gained 10.7% to $30.34. Alpha and Omega Semiconductor announced commencement of production of Intelligent Power Module (IPM5) products at Kaynes Semicon Inaugural Opening in Sanand, Gujarat.
• Sealsq Corp (NASDAQ:LAES) gained 10.5% to $2.36.
• D-Wave Quantum Inc (NASDAQ:QBTS) jumped 10.1% to $16.14.
• Applied Digital Corp (NASDAQ:APLD) gained 9.8% to $30.32.
• Globalstar, Inc. (NASDAQ:GSAT) jumped 9.6% to $79.90 after the company announced it has entered into a definitive merger agreement to be acquired by Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN).
• Robinhood Markets Inc (NASDAQ:HOOD) gained 9% to $78.09.
• Nuscale Power Corp (NYSE:SMR) gained 8.8% to $10.43.
• American Airlines Group Inc (NASDAQ:AAL) jumped 8.5% to $12.19 amid reports that United Airlines Holdings (NYSE:UAL) CEO Scott Kirby has suggested a potential merger with the company.
• Alaska Air Group Inc (NYSE:ALK) gained 7.3% to $42.90.
