SunCoke Energy And Cleveland-Cliffs Agreed To A 3-Year Extension Of Their Cokemaking Agreement; SunCoke To Provide 500 Thousand Tons Of Metallurgical Coke Annually To Cleveland-Cliffs

SunCoke Energy, Inc. (NYSE:SXC) and Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. have agreed to a 3-year extension of their cokemaking agreement, under which SunCoke will provide 500 thousand tons of metallurgical coke annually to Cleveland-Cliffs from its Haverhill cokemaking facility located in Franklin Furnace, Ohio. The contract commences on January 1, 2026, and key provisions of the agreement are similar to the existing Haverhill contracts.
